SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS
Dr. Rema Mohan is one of the first ophthalmologists in India to get a Ph.D., degree. She has been doing original research on diabetic retinopathy and her work is nationally and internationally recognized. She is one of the first ophthalmologists in the country to work exclusively on diabetic retinopathy and trained in grading of retinal photographs according to the Wisconsin Classification System. She has presented papers and delivered guest lectures at national and international conferences.

Conducts free eye camps in Chennai, Tiirumangalam, 2nd and 4th Sundays with Sathya Sai Seva Organization
Provides free treatment and Laser  & cataract Surgeries for those detected to have diabetes in  the camp.
Free refraction and laser treatment for diabetic eye Complications and free glaucoma work up & treatment  at DMDSC.
